Analyze epistemology in philosophy by completing the following matrix. Provide a definition of the branch of philosophy as given in a philosophical source (the readings, supplemental materials, or outside academic sources) and list a minimum of three historical developments, theories, key contributors, and principal issues. Write a 500-word response below that identifies the sources and reliability of your own beliefs. Answer the following questions:
1. What sources in your background caused you to hold the beliefs you hold?
2. How have you “processed” the information from those sources to judge their reliability? In other words, are your beliefs the result of a conscious decision on your part?
